Dr. Whitney Cohn Dominique is a chiropractic physician and naturopath who adopts a fully integrative approach to health and wellness. She believes that health care practitioners need to work with one another to achieve optimal patient results. Dr. Dominique has a solid background in naturopathic principles and her approach is based on re-establishing a basis for health through education and lifestyle changes. She combines her knowledge of the body and how it should function optimally with chiropractic principles and the use of natural remedies to effect change in both the chronic and acutely ill. Her treatment plans include chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy modalities, homeopathic remedies, acupuncture, western botanicals, hydrotherapy treatments, exercise, counseling and nutrition. She also has a specific focus on women's health, pre and post conception issues and environmental toxic burdens. Dr. Dominique is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences, a 100 year old institution renowned for its dedication to the health sciences and integrative medicine, and holds dual doctoral degrees in chiropractic medicine and naturopathy. While at National University, she was actively involved in the student government as the class president, lobbied in Washington D.C. for chiropractic legislature with the Student American Chiropractic Association, and much more. Prior to attending National University, Dr. Dominique attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at National University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Dominique focuses her post graduate continuing education in treating a variety of internal disorders including, but not limited to, auto immune disorders, acne, digestive complaints, nutritional deficiencies, chronic metabolic conditions (i.e. Crohn’s, IBS, fibromyalgia, cancers, etc.) and female disorders (bio-identical hormones/anti-aging, menstrual irregularities, etc.). Dr. Dominique also concentrates a large percent of her practice on integrative gynecology. Dr. Dominique continues to accept new patients.
